About Dr. Jones
Eric A. Jones, MD, FAAP
Dr. Jones, received his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington, where he graduated with Honors. He completed his urologic surgery training at the renowned Clark Urologic Center at UCLA School of Medicine. His pediatric urology fellowship training was completed at Baylor College of Medicine, and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX. Dr. Jones is board certified in Urology, as well as sub-specialty certified in Pediatric Urology, although he restricts his practice to Pediatric Urology.
Dr. Jones began practicing pediatric urology in Houston in 2003. He began his career on the academic faculty at Baylor College of Medicine. He is a graduate of the Clinical Scientist training program. He remains an active member of the urologic surgery and pediatric urology fellowship training programs at Baylor College of Medicine, and University of Texas-Houston medical school. He has numerous publications to his credit, and has authored numerous urologic textbook chapters.
Locally, Dr. Jones is active in the Harris County Medical Society, and is a local delegate to the Texas Medical Society. He is also a member of numerous national medical societies, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Urologic Association, and the American Association of Pediatric Urologists.
